Randy Oitker Featured on TOPPS Cards

Randy Oitker, is the first archer to be featured on a Topps ball card. Randy is featured on the 2010 Topps Allen & Ginter Series . These cards are based upon the 1880’s tobacco card set of the same name, with featured stars from several different sports, including some of the earliest baseball cards. The 2010 set includes different champions from various sports and some not related to sports at all.

There are 350 standard-sized base cards, including 50 short prints found one per two packs. The set includes 260 veterans, 30 rookies, 25 public figures and 35 World Champions. Randy is featured in the World Champion Series along with athletes like Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson, Olympic swimmer Summer Sanders, skateboarding Champion Tony Hawk, and American Idol winner Jordin Sparks.

Randy Oitker along with many baseball players has autographed cards that are randomly inserted in packs. There is also a relic card available with Randy’s wood bow grip, there are also several different mini cards with Randy including a Bazooka Bubble Gum card( Short Print only 25 made) and he is on a Silk card ( only 10 made) . Randy is also featured on a base card #92 .

These cards can be found at any store that sells Topps cards including the big box stores and online auctions.

BIO:

Randy Oitker was born March 2, 1987 and lives on the family farm in Plainville, IL. Randy started shooting a bow at the age of 8 and by the age of 10 he had won 5 North American Bowhunters (NABH) qualifiers, The NABH World Championship and the NABH Shooter of the Year. Randy continued shooting the Pro archery tournament circuit winning over 17 national titles, 2 World Championships and 3 Shooter of the Year awards by the age of 12.

Randy stopped competing and focused on introducing others to the sport of archery that he enjoys doing so much.

When Randy was 12 years old, he was asked to write a monthly column for 5 different magazines. By age 14, Randy was performing at Outdoor expos, fundraisers and grand openings and special events for Bass Pro and Cabela’s stores. He has performed at Buckmaster’s Expos, NWTF conventions, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundations events, Weatherby Foundation Events, and he has performed for 6 years in a row at the Harrisburg, A. Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show and has been voted fan favorite each year. www.easternsportshow.com. He also performs at corporate events, private functions and numerous other events related to the archery and outdoor industry. Andy has also performed at the Alfred Sloan Museum in Flint, I.. Randy has even performed at the Bristol Motor Speedway at a Nascar Nextel Cup Race, the Food City 500 in 2005 and was featured in a commercial at the pre-race ceremony on the Speed Channel.
Randy currently is still performing at outdoor expos and events all across the country and internationally too. Randy is also an outdoor writer and contributes articles to National Bowhunter Mag. and www.bowhunting.net .

In 2009, Randy traveled to London, England for the Guinness Book Of World Records TV show called “Guinness World Records Smashed” to make archery history! On April 7, 2009. Randy Oitker shot 6 arrows with one shot 6 arrows at a time and simultaneously hit 6 separate balloons!

Randy has become internationally known with his travels for Guinness World Records. In 2010, Randy was invited by Guinness to perform in the Rome, Italy for their TV show called “Lo Show dei Records” then Guinness invited Randy to Beijing, China for their TV show called “Zhen Da Zong Yi” to perform his art of archery.

Randy was recently honored by the Topps Card Company as the first archer to be featured on their cards. Randy is on the 2010 Allen and Ginter World Champion Series of cards. Randy’s goal is to introduce as many people to the sport of archery and to the outdoors.

Randy always says that if he can get one kid interested in archery and the outdoors than he has done his job.

Randy recently signed on to be a part of the Outdoor Channel TV show Shooting USA’S Impossible Shots.

Randy Oitker Making Archery Records and Archery History

In 2005, Randy is the first person to shoot with one shot 3 arrows and hit 3 individual targets simultaneously.

In 2006, Randy is the first person and only person in the history of archery to shoot with one shot 4 arrows and hit 4 individual targets simultaneously .This accomplishment was documented by Ripley’s Believe It Or Not and Randy was featured in a Ripley’s cartoon that appeared in over 200 newspapers in 42 countries and in 17 different languages.

In 2007, Randy is the first and only person in the history of archery to shoot 5 arrows with one shot and hit 5 individual targets simultaneously.

In 2009, Randy traveled to London, England for the Guinness Book Of World Records TV show called “Guinness World Records Smashed.” On April 7, 2009. Randy Oitker is the first and only person in the history of archery to shoot 6 arrows with one shot 6 arrows at a time and simultaneously hit 6 separate balloons!
This was filmed at the famous Pinewood Movie Studios where many major movies are filmed.

In 2010, Randy is the first archer to be featured on a series of Topps Ball cards. The 2010 Allen and Ginter World Champion Series.
