Scent-Lok® Introduces BaseSlayers
Scent-Lok Technologies has once again introduced one of the most innovative
and effective scent-elimination products that will help hunters avoid detection
by the noses of big game animals.
 
The all new BaseSlayers by Scent-Lok is the first ever activated
carbon scent-control system designed specifically to be worn directly next
to the skin.
The combination of comfort stretch, moisture wicking, anti-microbial
and odor adsorbing carbon are combined to provide the first odor eliminating
underwear.
"Our product research team worked closely with our fabric engineers
and came up with the most comfortable choice for scent-elimination apparel
ever," reported Scent-Lok Technologies President, Greg Sesselmann. "BaseSlayers
represents another first in the odor eliminating apparel category."
Scent-Lok BaseSlayers are made of an ultra-light polyester knit that
when worn next to the skin not only kills odor causing bacteria but also
adsorb all other types of human odors that are generated by the body.
Scent-Lok BaseSlayers use an anti-microbial treatment in addition to
the patented activated carbon technology found in all Scent-Lok garments.
Unlike standard anti-microbial suits, BaseSlayers adsorb odors caused by
the body's production of gas compounds that are picked up by whitetail
deer and all other scent-wary game animals.
No other activated carbon fabric can compare to the revolutionary breakthrough
in fabric comfort and stretch ability than Scent-Lok BaseSlayers. The stretch
capabilities allow the suit to fit like a glove, maximizing comfort and
reducing weight. BaseSlayers can be worn in any temperature and will wick
away moisture from the skin, making hunters cooler in hot weather and improve
the effectiveness of insulated garments on cold days.
While BaseSlayers can usually reduce enough human odors to avoid detection,
BaseSlayers are designed to be used in conjunction with other Scent-Lok
type garments. The combination of BaseSlayers and additional outer scent-eliminating
garments will satisfy even the most demanding scent-conscious hunter.
When BaseSlayers are used properly with other odor adsorbing garments,
the odor protection is maximized. The duration between regeneration cycles
increases, so you can hunt long and hard when getting to a dryer is difficult.
The BaseSlayers product line includes a long sleeve top and bottom that
conform to the contours of the body. Arm and leg openings are tapered
and fit snugly to the arms and legs, allowing outer garments to slip easily
over the top. BaseSlayers are generously cut and are designed to
keep waist and back areas covered while bending and climbing.
Both top and bottom are washable and can be reactivated in household
dryers.
