July 17, 2003 - At the Hammer Hole I have two tripods set up, one on each side of the woods road. Today I used the one on the South side because the wind was blowing South and I wanted to avoid the possibility of my scent floating across the road. The temperature was 92 with light gusts of wind, it wasn't bad. This picture is looking across the road down on of the 3 main trails that wild hogs as well as deer use when they pass through the area. Soon after the sun had sunk below the treeline 3 rabbits raced out of the thick woods behind me. Two disappeared into the brush but one stopped at the edge of the woods and waited. I combed the brush looking for hog parts. I saw some and took a picture... |
