Jason Balazs


Jason  has been around archery his whole life. Starting with a stick bow when he was only 5, he has evolved into one of the most trusted names in the archery industry, providing an unbiased review of archery gear.  Jason got his start evaluating equipment for the North American Hunting Club, then other publications and has become one of the top evaluators for www.bowhunting.net.  Jason worked in Bob Fromme’s Performance Archery, in San Diego,  teaches archery through the SKIES program and has been awarded the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal twice. He holds a Bachelors degree is in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Wildlife and fisheries management and a Masters Degree in Public Health. He continues to work with numerous archery companies to provide them with input that will make their products not only better, but more cost effective for the consumer. His personal motto is, “I will never endorse a product that I feel is not up to the standards that the everyday bowhunter wants.” Jason provides a no nonsense review of outdoor equipment and has proven himself a valuable asset to our team and will continue to do so for many years to come.
