| One of the archery industry's own, New Archery Products, recently stepped
up to show United States troops in Iraq just how much their efforts are
appreciated. NAP employees collected over 2000 pounds of battlefield-scarce
items and sent them to Iraq. Gum, books, videos, hygiene products, antibacterial
wipes, sunscreen, cigarettes, hot sauce and a long list of other items
were collected, securely boxed and shipped to a chaplain stationed in Iraq
for distribution to the troops.
Over 70 large boxes were shipped, with New Archery Products footing
the bill for all of the packaging and shipping. Each box included a special
NAP note of appreciation to the troops.
New Archery Products is continuing its Support Our Troops efforts and
would certainly welcome other archery companies who would like to get involved.
