BLACK LIGHTNING & WHITE LIGHTNING
by Art Champoux

When I received the tubes of BLACK LIGHTNING & WHITE LIGHTNING made by Pro Release, the same company that
makes the great line of Release Aids, I knew I had a couple of winners.

WHITE LIGHTNING is made primarily for bowstrings. It is a wax-based lubricant that contains silicone. It goes on slick and will help protect your bowstring against wear and weather, including rain, like no product I've ever used before.

Tom Costa, one of the more consistent performers on the New England 3D circuit, and close friend, highly endorses this product saying, "It goes on easily, stays on a long time, is not greasy and penetrates incredible." He also added, "It doesn't bunch up or require a lot of work to get it to melt into the strands and is easy to clean off your hands." Tom offered that most of the better shooters use BLACK LIGHTNING because it matches the black bow strings and gives a better edge as the bow performs the same in good and bad weather.

BLACK LIGHTNING is a multipurpose wax-based lubricant that also contains both graphite and silicone. This one is much more versatile as it can be used for everything that moves or rubs and that includes door hinges, bow parts, etc, etc, etc. From doors to squeaky chairs to putting on screws before you drive them in, this is one handy product.

Both come in handy push up tubes and should be a part of every tackle box, toolbox and camping box for home, play or work.

Both retail around $5 and are well worth it. I used them both last year and was surprised at how well they worked, how easy they were to use and how long they lasted.

RATING: 1= POOR - 5=SUPERIOR

VALUE/COST 5
QUALITY 5
PERFORMANCE 5
EASE OF USE 5

I continue to use both of these products as this test made a believer out of me. My bowstrings last longer, perform better and I shoot better because of it. I still haven't found all the ways to use BLACK LIGHTNING. These are definitely products every archer and every handyman should have around the home. If you aren't a handyman you most assuredly need them. They can reduce wear and tear and stop that squeaky door and make you look like a mechanical genius.
