Products At The 2005 Show - Part 4
I am a big fan of EASY-EYE Archery Products because of their EZ-Wraps for cresting arrows. They introduced new Carbon Rebel Arrows that come pre-wraped and fletched. The shafts are Carbon Express. HIND SIGHT eliminates the peep sight. When the Hind Sight unit lines up with your pin sight you are on target. It prevents bow torque and always has positive alignment. The line has grown and includes both bowsight and Hind Sight. Several models are available. The advantage I see to this is it is easier to see your pin in low light situations. TRU-FIRE has the Next Generation of the Stealth release featuring Try-Rotation, the head body rotates independently on ball bearings and will not torque with fingers or a string loop. Trigger travel is easy to adjust with the heads set screw. The Judge release features a trigger pressure dial to adjust it the way you like. The release's head free spins on a actual bearing giving zero torque with fingers or loops. Tiger Tough introduced their new Tiger Sight bowsight with brilliant wrapped optical pins that come in a choice of medium and small. Three new arrow rests were introduced, the Tuffy Hunter Power Drop-Away Rest and the Power Drop-Away Rest with the Stealth Arrow Holder and the Tuff Buddy with the Stealth Arrow Holder. The Stealth Arrow Holder is available in a kit that will hook it up to all Tiger Tuff Rests. EASTON expanded their H.I.T. (Hidden Insert Technology) offerings to include the new ST Axis and ST Axis Obsession carbon arrow shafts. These new small diameter arrows provide superior accuracy, durability and penetration. The Obsession model comes in the mossy Oak Obsession camo. Trophy Ridge is the inventor of the bowsight world's Vertical Inline Pin Technology. I'm one of those who hasn't ever used a sight with this type of sight pin arrangement. Frankly, it just didn't look right to me until until I got to draw and aim with one at the Trophy Ridge vertical pin sights. This is a good concept. If I am off target a little it usually is to the right or left, I do pretty good on the elevation. You can definitely see the pins and target more clearly without that horizontal pin bar. I'm gonna try one. I like how bright it was too. Rocket Broadheads was bought by Trophy Ridge and they introduced the UltimateSteel 100 grain fixed blade and SteelHead 100 expandable. Scent-Lok introduced the Savanna EXT, a line of quieter, softer and more breathable garments for warm weather. These hunting clothes are the first to have an anti-microbial carbon-lined layer that adsorbs human odor and combats the bacteria that cause it. Copper John introduced the new, all metal, all american Little John bowsight with bright fiber optic pins. Vital Bow Gear's newest bow sights are the GALAXY with spooled fibers on each pin. and the StarTrack with one pin having 1 yard of wrapped fiber. The Virtual Drop arrow rest was new also. BEEMAN Carbon Arrows Micro Diameter carbon arrows with Hidden Insert Technology promise to deliver big improvements in bowhunting performance. Their newest carbon arrows are the MFX BLACK MAX and MFX MAX-4. They have an ultra small diameter and a thicker shaft wall for increased durability, better penetration and reduced wind drift. TRU-BALL introduced the new COPPERHEAD release, the world's smallest dual caliper release. It had a slightly curved trigger that fit very nicely. The trigger and jaws are made of MIM Metal Injection Molding which makes possible shapes that are impossible with CNC and have equal of better strength. CARBON EXPRESS introduces
MAXIMA, billed as the toughest all-carbon hunting arrow. BuffTuff Plus,
the shafts outer cross weave makes the arrow tougher, stronger and quieter.
