The
6th annual Archery Trade Show is the big one for our industry. Here is
our coverage of the show, plus lots of pictures of people who attended
and the manufacturers who exhibited.

enjoy the outstanding taxidermy displays at this show and this year I took

2002
AMO Archery Trade Show
This Is The Big One:
 The
6th AMO Archery Trade Show is the archery industry's biggest show. It's
the only national trade show produced exclusively for our industry. The
2001 show is at the Opreyland Convention Center in Nashville, TN. Over
500 exhibitors are displaying archery and bowhunting products here. It
is not open to the public so you must be a member of the trade to attend:
dealers, retailers and merchants as well as industry media (we're in that
category) have registered for the show. As mentioned, consumers can't come
to the show, but guess what, you can come in with me, right here. Lets

NWTF Convention and Sport Show is an annual event. Over 30,000 wild turkey
enthusiasts attend every year. There are numerous seminars, national calling
contests, and the largest exhibition of wild turkey gear from more than

AMO Archery Trade Show
This Is The Big One:
The 5th AMO Archery Trade
Show is the archery industry's biggest show. It's the only national trade
show produced exclusively for our industry. The 2001show utilizes over
275,000 sp. ft. in the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Over 500 exhibitors are displaying archery and bowhunting products here.
It is not open to the public so you must be a member of the trade to attend:
more than 8,000 dealers, retailers and merchants as well as industry media
(we're in that category) have registered for the show. As mentioned, consumers

Bowfishing At The Hamilton County
Fishing Event, Monday, June 12
Bosque Bowhunters Assn.
put on a bowfishing program at the annual Fishing Event in Hamilton, Texas.
The event is to introduce youth, and anyone else interested, to fishing
and the outdoors. The event is sponsored on by the Texas Parks & Wildlife.

We
have Digital Pictures taken today and the news on the first day in the
Aquilla Wildlife Management Area as several dozen high school students
came for day #1 of the 2 day Texas Parks & Wildlife Youth
Shooting Sports Event - 1st Day at the Aquilla Wildlife Management
Area. Today's students were from the Texas towns of Hillsboro, Cranfiels
Gap and Jonesboro.
As
guests of the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, the Duck and I are
again introducing High School kids to archery.
The Shootoff @ 1999 NFAA Indoor Nationals.
Seven
men went to the shooting line, tied for first place in the men's pro division.
Dave Cousins won. Christy Brisco won the pro women's division. We were
