Hunt for a Cure’s 2010 Camouflage Ball was another huge success, raising more than $62,000 to go toward research to find a cure for cystic fibrosis!!
This event, which boasts an unbelievable list of items in the silent and live auctions, as well a list of guns that would make any outdoor lover drool, was held on August 8th. Among this awesome list are one-of-a kind items donated by the Whack Master himself, Ted Nugent. An autographed skull mount from a beautiful white tail deer set off a furious bidding war in the live auction.
No one in the history of the hunting world has raised more money for more worthwhile causes nationwide. Ted generously donated a hunt for Wild Russian Boar at Sunrize Acres, and this raffle alone raised almost $10,000!! The raffled hunt with Ted has been the biggest source of revenue for the Camo Ball for 10 years in a row!
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder so children battle this horrible disease from birth. Special thanks to Ted Nugent for being an important part of the success of this event, which will improve the lives of the children living with cystic fibrosis!
