Hunts Generate Money For Wounded Warriors

Two generous hunters are set to enjoy some great whitetail hunting and help wounded American soldiers at the same time.

Mossy Oak’s first THUG Hunt Auction concluded recently with the sale of two whitetail hunts – one at Giles Island, near Natchez, Miss., and another on private land in Alabama.

The hunts raised $7,600 for the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org), whose mission of honoring and empowering wounded American soldiers upon their return home has made a difference in the lives of countless heroes. Mossy Oak is proud to support the initiative by combining efforts with Birdies for the Brave, an annual fundraising event put on by PGA TOUR golfer Frank Lickliter II.

The online THUG Auction was the first of its kind, and there will be more to come. Watch the Mossy Oak family of programming for more information, and to see how this season’s two hunts turn out.

T.H.U.G. (Today’s Hunters Uniting for Good): Mossy Oak has teamed up with Frank Lickliter II of the PGA tour to raise funds for Wounded Warrior Project. A portion of sales from THUG-related items and all the money raised from special auctioned hunts will be handed over to Frank Lickliter II at his yearly golf event for Wounded Warrior Project.
