ATA Show Comes to Close

After a short night I was once again back at the Archery Trade Show. Collin and I were busy trying to get more video interviews on some new products coming out in 2011. It was interesting listening to what each product had to offer to our bowhunting passion. Of course as you walk through you bump into friends and acquaintances and spend a little time talking to each one of them, giving a business card to them or saying “facebook me” – technology is amazing!

The morning flew by so fast and as quick as it started it ended. Collin, Robert, and Rich had a plane to catch so after saying thank you, for this great opportunity to attend the ATA, they were off to the airport. I walked back to the convention center and shot a few more bows, looked at few more interesting products for which I will review soon on Bowhunting.Net. The amazing thing to me was that after three days of being at the show, I still had not seen every booth. And by the end of the show I am feeling exhaustion. There is a lot of walking, lack of sleep, and mental exhaustion that goes on here with buyers, sellers, and information givers all alike.

With the show ending people were impatiently waiting to tear their booths down so they could get some rest or get on the road. I stayed and helped my friend at Pimpmybow.com and Vaportrail tear down their booth, and then I was off to supper and some good conversation with some friends. It has been a long but also short three days and this experience will be forever burned into my memory banks. I cannot wait until next year to relive the experience.
