AMS Bowfishing Amps Up for 2011 with a New Look, a New Rig and a New Website
AMS Bowfishing has launched an exciting new look for 2011 including their new Ultimate Bowfishing Boat and a new interactive website for the bowfishing community.
“The fact that we’ve experienced continued growth in the last few years is a testament to the growing enthusiasm for bowfishing,” says Cindy Braun of AMS Bowfishing. “Our product’s make it easy for anyone to enjoy the sport, and we wanted our brand to reflect the fun and excitement we feel every time we hit the water.”
One way AMS Bowfishing is making a splash in 2011 is with their “Ultimate Bowfishing Rig”. They’ll be showcasing the boat at all the big bowfishing tournaments this year. The new boat is a 2272 Custom Bowfishing Rig made by Oquawka Boats in Oquawka, IL. It has an 8 degree V Hull with a Tunnel, Custom Decking, Compartments and Layout, special Hydro Turf mat installed on the shooting deck, ten 150 Watt HPS Lights powered by 3 Honda EU2000i Generators. The boat is propelled for bowfishing with the captains choice of a 101lb Thrust Minn Kota RipTide Trolling Motor or a 40HP Kohler Fan Motor with a Gear Reduction system and a 56” Composite Prop. Finally, the boat is powered for large and small water with a 225HP Yamaha SHO (Super High Output) Outboard motor mounted on a CMC Hydraulic Jack Plate with a 7” set back. The custom wrap shows the boat’s sole purpose, Bowfishing!
