Many Thanks to the Bowhunting.net Scouting For Deer 2011 Sponsors: ThermaCELL, Alpine Archery,  SpyPoint Game Cameras and Victory Arrows.

First Fawn Pics of 2011

One of the fun things about watching whitetail deer year round is seeing the year’s new fawns show up.  I saw the first ones earlier, back during wild turkey season, in April. And I’ve spotted 30-40 since. However, I either didn’t have my camera with me when I saw them or couldn’t get the camera going in time.

But when I saw this fawn everything fell in place. The fawn is larger than the others I’ve seen so it was one of the early born ones.
