Designed specifically for crossbow hunting, Leupold’s new Crossbones scope features an exclusive reticle integrated with a special power selector to maximize shooting accuracy.

The power selector is calibrated in velocity rather than magnification, allowing the hunters to easily match the ballistic profile of their arrows to the exclusive Crossbones Ballistic Reticle (CBR).

“Our CBR reticle is ideally suited to the function and power of today’s modern crossbow,” said Pat Mundy, communications manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “The power selector ring allows shooters to effortlessly adjust to their arrow velocity and calibrate the CBR for the arrow at the same time.”

A 2-7x33mm scope, Crossbones offers all the optical performance and ruggedness typical of Golden Ring® riflescopes. Another key feature is Leupold’s Quantum Optical System™, which includes lead-free, precision-ground and polished lenses with Leupold’s exclusive Multicoat 4® coatings for enhanced resolution, clarity and contrast. Carefully positioned in optimum relationship to each other, the lenses deliver up to 92 percent total light transmission.

Finger-adjustable, ÂĽ-MOA click windage and elevation dials allow quick zeroing and fine tuning in the field. The power selector ring incorporates a tactile indicator, making it easy to grasp and turn even while wearing gloves. A fast-focus eyepiece with a low-profile lock ring makes reticle focus easy to achieve and maintain.

Crossbones is waterproof, shockproof and fog proof. The scope is built for rugged use with a matte black one-inch maintube manufactured from 6061-T6 aircraft-quality aluminum alloy. It is covered by Leupold’s Full Lifetime Guarantee.

Weighing 9.9 ounces and measuring 11.3 inches in length, Crossbones sports modern styling with a gold-plated Leupold® medallion highlighting the exterior design.
