Designed to offer exceptional performance and value for hunters and wildlife observers, Redfield® Rebel™ roof prism binoculars now come in 8x42mm and 10x50mm models.

Easy to handle and lightweight, Rebel binoculars are also available in 8x32mm and 10x42mm models introduced in 2010 after Leupold & Stevens, Inc. acquired the Redfield brand. The new 8x42mm model provides a balance of field of view, magnification and exit pupil that has become popular among outdoor enthusiasts. The new 10x50mm model is especially effective in low-light environments where wildlife is often most active.

“Our popular Rebel binoculars have performed exceedingly well in the field and are a great value,” said Pat Mundy, communications manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “With the addition of the 8x42mm and 10x50mm models, there’s a Rebel for virtually any outdoor activity that requires a good binocular, whether it’s used on a hunt, birding tour, camping trip or just exploring nature in the backyard.”

The ergonomic roof prism design of the Rebel binoculars reduces bulk and weight. The 8x42mm model weighs only 24.2 ounces and measures 5.8 inches in length, while the 10x50mm model weighs 30 ounces and is 6.7 inches long.

Rebel binoculars feature fully multicoated lenses and premium BAK4 prisms for outstanding image brightness, resolution and edge clarity. They have a fully armored black polycarbonate body to ensure durability, and are nitrogen filled to make them waterproof and fog proof in all field conditions. Twist-up/down eyecups comfortably accommodate users with or without eyeglasses. Each binocular comes with a tripod adaptable mount, soft case, neoprene neck strap and lens covers.

The Rebel 8x42mm model has a linear field of view of 94 feet at 1,000 yards and a close focus distance of 5.3 feet. Exit pupil is 5.25 mm.

The 10x50mm model has a linear field of view of 284 feet at 1,000 yards and a close focus distance of 9.8 feet. Exit pupil is 5.0 mm.
All Rebel binoculars are covered by the Redfield Limited Lifetime Warranty.

In addition to Rebel™ roof prism and Renegade™ Porro prism binoculars, the Redfield line includes Revolution™ and Revenge™ riflescopes, Rampage™ spotting scope kits and Raider™ rangefinders. The Redfield Gun Sight Company was founded in 1909 by John Hill Redfield. Over the years, Redfield became one of the leading American manufacturers of sports optics, known for the performance, ruggedness and reliability of its products. The new Redfield line upholds that tradition and is sold worldwide to hunters, shooters, wildlife observers and other outdoor enthusiasts.
