KEUKA — BEAUTY AND FUNCTION WORTHY OF ITS NAMESAKE

From: Jonina Costello – Full Throttle Communications

The Perfect Companion For Any Hunting Task

The Ontario Knife Company® set out with the mission of creating knives that are not only functional with fine cutting edges, but to create each knife as a piece of art in its own right. As proof of this concept and commitment, Ontario Knife Company has introduced the new Keuka™.

The Ontario Keuka knife, and its brethren in the series the Ontario Seneca knife and the Ontario Cayuga knife, were named after the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York. While each of these models exemplify all of the beauty surrounding these magnificent bodies of water, significant consideration was also given to ensure the skill and care — that made the 19th century craftsman great — was retained and then blended with the best new materials to create a modern-day masterpiece.

Second in importance only to the cutting edge of a knife is the functionality of the handle. For this reason, The Ontario Knife Company applied a modern approach to the Ontario Keuka’s classic design by incorporating a new ergonomic mold injected handle with a polypropylene under mold and a Krayton over mold for a great fit and texture. This modern design provides a solid grasp for your hand whether cutting a piece of twine in a rain storm or field-dressing game.

The Ontario Keuka knife measures a satisfying nine inches of 420 Stainless Steel — small enough to carry on your hip or in a pack, but large enough to cut deep on big game. Best of all the Ontario Keuka’s blade brings as much “go” as it does “show” thanks to the 50-55 HRC blade hardness. Rounding off the package is a classic hand-stitched leather sheath.

Founded in 1889, The Ontario Knife Company is a U.S. owned and operated organization that continually stays? on the forefront of knife designs and cutting-edge technology. Ontario?s military supply roots go deep into its history, as the company has been supplying quality cutlery to the U.S. Military since WWI, beginning with its famous 18-inch Machete. Today, the company consistently develops new knife designs that allow military personnel to have the products they need in order to get their jobs done both on and off of the battlefield. Ontario Knife is also especially proud of being selected as the sole provider of the United States Marine Corps OKC3S Multi-purpose Bayonet System and the Model 4 Rescue Strap Cutter. In addition to being a major supplier to the U.S. Armed Forces, Ontario Knife teams with a nationwide network of distributors/dealers to market its products to many diverse consumer and niche markets including the tactical/military, hunting, outdoors, law enforcement and cutlery industries. Worldwide sales activity encompasses more than 28 countries and continues to grow.
