Fulton Precision Archery added innovative features to the 100 and 125 grain Ramcat Fixed Blade Broadheads for 2012. Each broadhead is made of a one piece, stainless steel body ferrule with a Hydroshock Self-Centering Chisel Tip with patented deep lobes that result in fieldpoint accuracy and the deepest penetration on the market. Each has a cut diameter of 1 3/8” and 1 ½” respectively.
Each replaceable blade is now sharpened front and rear. If there is no passthrough, blades roll forward and the broadhead cuts its way back out. Other new innovations for Ramcat include changing the stainless steel body ferrule from a 300 series stainless steel to a 400 series stainless steel that is then heat treated for additional strength, using a new blade sharpening process that results in even sharper blades, the FACT (Firenock Arrow Concentric Technology) which is a 2 O-ring system that ensures the threaded shank will be absolutely centered in all inserts and will disallow the broadhead from loosening on the shaft. Other new features include adding new left hand blade screws to tighten blades into the loaded position more easily, increasing Allen socket on blade screws from .050″ to 1/16″ for easy, consistent tightening, revising blades so they will rotate forward further for easier arrow extraction (back cut) in game or targets, increasing the threaded shank length by 1 1/2 threads to accommodate all inserts and added new Deep Six Broadheads that will adapt to the Easton Deep Six arrows.
