Rick’s Pick for Arrows? Carbon Express – this buffalo is part of the reason.
By: Rick Philippi

The flight of the arrow is a magnificent thing, there is nothing like it. I think it is the first lure that attracted me to the sport of archery. Over the years, I have shot many different arrows made by numerous companies but those made by Carbon Express  are in a league of their own. I have taken over 220 big game animals with Carbon Express and not a single time have they failed me. That is strong testament to their performance and quality.

Carbon Express Arrows fly accurately and are very durable. It is a known fact that arrows with consistent spines will enable the archer to shoot tighter, more precise groups at increased distances and I can attest to that fact. Spine stability is the number one factor in an arrows performance. What I like about Carbon Express is the fact that each and every single arrow is laser checked for straightness to a remarkable 1/10,000 of an inch. Again, spine consistency is the number one dynamic in arrow performance and accuracy.

This wild turkey, taken at 32 yards is another testament to Carbon Express arrows.

Another quality factor to take their arrows to another level is Carbon Express uses a fully automated, electronic sorting system to precisely match the weight of each arrow in a boxed set ensuring that group of arrows shoot the same. The last couple of years, I have been partial to the Maxima Hunters. The one thing I noticed when shooting them out to 50 yards, was my improved accuracy. It actually boosted my confidence which makes me a better shot at the moment of truth.

Another added feature and benefit with the Maxima Hunters is the Dual Spine Weight Forward technology that delivers rapid recovery and guidance control. The fusion of two completely different carbon materials creates two spines in one arrow enhancing rapid recovery and precise accuracy.

As I mentioned earlier, I have been shooting Carbon Express for years and they have never failed me and believe me when I say I have put them to the test many times. Shoot the best—Shoot Carbon Express. Check out their web site at www.carbonexpressarrows.com
