Bear outfitter Ben Pinkham picked me up at the airport in Bangor, Maine. The bear hunt begins this afternoon. Right now we are back in Bangor waiting for LL Bean to open. We’re waiting in a McDonalds — this is the coolest Micky D’s I’ve ever been in, it looks like a hunting lodge.
I used to bear hunt with Ben in both Maine and Colorado and had some great time and memorable hunts. I’ll put the updates up as things happen.
