Robinson Outdoors releases an entertaining and informative annual DVD series called “Secrets of the Pro’s”. The lessons taught are timeless in regards to a strategic scent control plan. This blog series is going to detail the lessons taught in particular segments, provide a link for online viewing, and challenge the reader to continue to strive for a more strict scent control regimen.

It just keeps getting better! In this technical segment, learn about the fourth layer of scent control.  Scott talks about how the exterior of our garments can get contaminated before the hunt even starts. Gain awareness of how little odors can have a big impact on the outside of activated carbon clothing, and how proper spraying with ScentBlocker will eliminate these external odors.

Watch Scott take his own advice and stalk up on a bedded buck. Bowhunting a mature whitetail buck is a challenge. Bowhunting a mature whitetail buck from the ground is close to impossible! See what happens as he and the deer are eye to eye in this amazing hunt.

This is a segment you do not want to miss. And remember,” the hunt starts as soon as you leave your truck”.

Hmmm, I don’t see that Chad but what I did see was a very well done, instructional video that may help a lot of people be more successful in the field. This is part of a series of instructional videos produced by Robinson Outdoors. I think it is less about a particular hunt then a teaching and promotional aid for bowhunters. I do hope it helped you in some way and I appreciate you spending time on bowhunting.net.
