Can the saying “less is more” apply to crossbows? Absolutely. New for 2013 Barnett Crossbows introduces the Buck Commander Extreme (BCX). A lightweight, compact speed demon ready for whatever your game may be. At a blazing speed of 365 fps with a 15-inch power stroke, 126 ft. pounds of kinetic energy, 19” width and only weighing 6.9 pounds, the BCX leaves nothing to chance.

Superior balance and stability make the BCX a standout among other crossbows in it’s class. Due mostly to the industries only proprietary ultra-light Carbonlite Riser Technology, the balance point is shifted away from the riser and back to the shoulder of the shooter. This allows for improved maneuverability and faster target acquisition, and the patented shoot-through foot stirrup allows for more power with a more compact fit.

In addition to a fully extruded aluminum flight track, the BCX features the CROSSWIRE string and cable system, which blends Barnett’s fibers with the industry’s toughest serving materials, ensuring the shooter has the most stable and reliable string in the industry. As a result, shooters experience a faster, quieter and more precise shot. An Anti Dry Fire Trigger Safety System makes it even more reliable in all conditions. This Metal Injection Molded Trigger boasts a smooth 3.5 pull and contains the added safety precaution of the Anti Dry Fire feature, eliminating unintentional dry firing of your bow.

The BCX is available through retailers as a complete package with the crossbow, Barnett illuminated 3×32 multi reticle red/green dot sight, a quick-detach quiver and three high-quality Easton 20″ arrows.
