Montana's big game hunters once lived for the wilderness early seasons, and those with the ability to pack in would set up camps such as this in the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area for a shot at bugling elk in the rut. Now, the more remote an area is, the more predators have destroyed huntable big game populations.
