Leupold’s BX®-4 McKinley™ HD™ binocular and RX®-800i TBR® with DNA® rangefinder have earned the “Editor’s Choice” designation from Petersen’s Hunting Magazine.
Editor’s Choice winners appear in the 2014 annual gear issue. Petersen’s Hunting’s comments on the BX-4 McKinley HD included the following: “The extra-low dispersion glass on the front end and rare earth element-coated ocular lenses deliver great resolution and beautiful colors.” BX-4 McKinley HD roof prism binoculars are available in 8x42mm and 10x42mm models.
Remarks on the RX-800i TBR with DNA (Digitally eNhanced Accuracy) included this statement: “Leupold engineers managed to pack the technology of two space shuttles into their little RX-800i TBR rangefinder, but you don’t need a degree in aerospace engineering to use it.” A technology highlight is Trophy Scale™, which allows hunters to instantly and accurately judge the width and/or height of game.
“We greatly appreciate this recognition from one of the most respected magazines covering hunting and hunting products,” said Pat Mundy, senior marketing manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “It’s affirmation of our hard work to make products that meet the highest standards of optical performance, mechanical function and rugged durability.”
