After 3 months and thousands and thousands of entries, a computer program randomly selected the winner among all the entries. When we called Ben to let him know that he had been selected from thousands of entries, as the BIG OF A LIFETIME up to 250” Whitetail deer winner, he had this to say “I am so existed that I won this trip!”.

World Class Whitetails of Ohio offered the Summertime Big Buck Giveaway in conjunction with HuntChannel, Bowhunting.net, Bowhunting Adventures Magazine and Ammoland.com.
The World Class Whitetails of Ohio ranch features two lodges, and is nestled in the hills of Holmes County, Ohio. More importantly, WCW of Ohio is home to some of the biggest whitetail bucks in the country, and over the years has yielded a number of SCI record whitetails. With a mix of hardwoods, food plots, ravines and fields, it’s a perfect home for a thriving whitetail herd.
There are few things more majestic than whitetail deer, and especially huge trophy whitetails, and you’ll see plenty of those at WCW of Ohio. The lucky Giveaway winner will receive free pick up at the Akron/Canton or Columbus, Ohio airport, transportation to the WCW ranch, and a 3 day hunt, including lodging, guiding, meals, skinning and caping of their trophy, and upon the completion of a successful hunt, return transportation to the airport.
Hunting is done predominantly from ground blinds, but also from tree stands, and spot and stalk. This is a weapon of choice hunt, archery, rifle, pistol or crossbow.
A typical morning starts with coffee and breakfast in the main lodge, meeting your guide, some good natured banter with other hunters, and then climbing aboard a Polaris Ranger and heading off onto the ranch. After the morning hunt, some down time during mid-day, followed by an afternoon hunt, and then dinner in the lodge.
Ben Disharoon wil enjoy the camaraderie of other hunters around the dinner table, sharing stories of the excitement of the day’s hunt, of harvested bucks, and perhaps a story or two of the one that got away.
The rich farmland of Holmes Country is home to the largest concentrations of Amish in the country, and makes for an interesting add on to your hunt. You’ll see horse drawn buggies navigating the roads, and WCW of Ohio typically features at least one home cooked Amish meal during your visit.
