Leupold® has been named the Official Optics of The Boone and Crockett Club®, North America’s oldest wildlife conservation organization.
A long-time partner of the wildlife management champion, Leupold’s new position working with The Club is indicative of the shared vision and dedication to safeguarding hunting for generations to come.
“Conservation is a complex business that requires vision, purpose, and commitment. Leupold & Stevens is a company that has all three,” said Marc Mondavi, The Boone and Crockett Club®’s vice president of communications. “We know this because, since 2004, Leupold has been a close partner of The Boone and Crockett Club®, supporting our commitment to conservation and hunting ethics. We couldn’t be more pleased in renewing and elevating this partnership in 2014.”
Over the years, Leupold has partnered with The Boone and Crockett Club® on a variety of programs, products, and media properties. With the expansion of this relationship, Leupold has solidified these partnerships across The Club’s entire media spectrum, from social media and television to print and the web.
“Leupold shares many of the same values of The Boone and Crockett Club®, so it’s a natural partnership for us,” said Michael Slack, senior manager of advertising and communications at Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “From fair chase principles to sustaining a healthy and robust population of game animals, The Boone and Crockett Club® has set the standard for responsible hunting. We’re honored to be a part of this organization.”
Founded in 1887 by Theodore Roosevelt and George Bird Grinnell, the Boone and Crockett Club® was instrumental in the founding of the National Park system. A pioneer in science-based wildlife management efforts, The Club created the first quantitative scoring and data collection system to measure and evaluate species and population health and habitat quality.
