The Pope & Young Club, a non-profit North American conservation and bowhunting organization announces support for the U.S. Sportsmens Alliance (USSA).
The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance (USSA) is a 501(c)4 organization and provides direct lobbying and grassroots coalition
“The Pope and Young Club has had close ties to the United States Sportsmen’s Alliance for many years” says Mike Schlegel, Conservation Chairman for the Pope & Young Club. “In addition to their leadership protecting and enhancing the rights of hunters, anglers and trappers, they are a key organization combating anti-hunting and extreme animal rights groups. USSA has been a strong advocate for bowhunters and bowhunting. The USSA was one of the first organizations the Pope and Young Club provided financial assistance to through its conservation program and continues to do so.”
“We really value our partnership with the Pope and Young Club and appreciate their contribution and continued support of our work. The organization clearly understands the importance of protecting our outdoor heritage as it protects the best interests of the American archery hunter.” Says Nick Pinizzotto, USSA President and CEO.
Established in 1961, the Pope and Young Club is a non-profit North American conservation and bowhunting organization dedicated to the promotion and protection of our bowhunting heritage, hunting ethics and wildlife conservation. The Club also maintains the universally recognized repository for the records and statistics on North American big game animals harvested with a bow and arrow.
