The one-man operation “Hi Mountain Seasonings” debuted its first product: the Hi Mountain Seasoning Original Jerky Cure & Seasoning Kit in 1991. Today the company is larger in size and number of products, all while proudly supplying customers world wide with the finest line of jerky cure and seasonings, spices, brines, sausage kits and accessories. In 2015 alone, Hi Mountain shipped enough seasoning and jerky kits to season more than 50 million pounds of meat.

Still headquartered in its founding home of Riverton, the company has grown significantly since its humble beginnings 25 years ago. Currently, the company has over 24,000 square feet of office, manufacturing and storage space. This large space is needed because the company has grown into a business that offers over 200 products and employs a staff of 40.

Founded by Dean Clarke, Hi Mountain Seasonings was purchased by the current owners, Hans and Kim Hummel in 2003. For the past 13 years, the Hummels have made their vision a reality and brought many new products and product lines to the Hi Mountain Seasonings fold, including dips, rubs, sauces and an extensive list of new flavors.

“We continue to rely on the principals that have helped us to grow our company: keeping our customers first and understanding their needs, maintaining the highest quality at all times, and never forgetting that our greatest asset is our people,” said Hi Mountain President Hans Hummel. “We have some great new products planned for our 25th Anniversary year along with some really spectacular specials.

“We are extremely excited to celebrate this 25th year, and we look forward to the next 25 years of providing our customers with phenomenal products and service,” Hummel continued.

Hi Mountain’s entire line of products, cooking tips, instructional videos, and recipes are also available at www.himtnjerky.com, and the products can be found at high-quality sporting goods stores, farm-and-ranch stores, many local grocery stores and naturally you can order from Amazon!

Located in the heart of Wyoming, Hi Mountain Seasonings was founded in 1991. It is the premier manufacturer of kits for homemade jerky and sausage. Hi Mountain Seasonings has successfully captured distinct, traditional Western flavors in its jerky cure & seasonings, Western-style seasonings, bacon cures and other products that make up the unique line of gourmet Western seasonings, as well as Hi Mountain Seasonings’ line of delicious freeze-dried Camping Meals.
