Kathy’s Bear Meat Marinade Recipe Ingredients:
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 sticks celery, diced
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoons lemon juice
1 onion, finely chopped
1 dash nutmeg
1 cup cider
1 clove garlic, mashed
1 carrot, diced
1 bay leaf
Kathy’s Bear Meat Marinade Recipe Directions:
Combine all ingredients in enamelware pan, slowly bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
*ingredients will marinate enough bear meat for approximately 3 people, adjust recipe accordingly if serving more than 3.
Marinate bear meat for several hours.
Place meat over fire, roast and baste frequently with this sauce.
