Many consider Illinois the Mecca of all whitetail choices. Within this great state our chosen outfitter offers fully-guided archery and firearm/muzzleloader hunts on over 16,000 acres of the highest quality land in Illinois. Thei ground has been under strict trophy management for 7-15 years. Unlike most ground in Illinois that is flat with no trees, this ground is 75 % timber and 25% agriculture.This heavy cover allows for a high deer density and security for a buck to mature to a ripe old age. Since 2006, this ground has produced 43 gross scoring Boone and Crockett’s; eight bucks grossing over 200 inches, seven bucks grossing over 190 inches, seven grossing in the 180s and twenty one grossing over 170. With the use of over 1000 stands and many different farms, the deer are ensured minimal pressure and an increased chance of reaching a mature age. This outfitter currently carry a 70-80% shot chance at a 130”- 140” trophy whitetail with a 40% success ratio. The success is harvested deer only to the skinning pole and not misses or wounded animals.
