Out where I live, if you go around barefoot or you don’t wear socks you eventually will get yourself stung by a Stinging Nettle. I can be very unpleasant, what with it’s persistent stinging, burning feeling and the itchy skin rash it leaves you with.

I was really surprised when I noticed this video on Youtube’s “Learn Your Land. Who woulda thought this stinging plant would have more vitamin C than an orange or be good for your prostrate and can fight breast cancer.  Adam Haritan tells us how to identify it and what you need to do to use it in cooking meals and in salads.
