I have spent thousands of hours in the deer woods with my DSL camera in tow, always in the alert mode, watching for the opportunity to capture pictures of whitetail deer. In my mind I lump some photo opportunities into categories; like ‘first fawn’ pictures, or ‘buck fights’ and one of my personal favorites, ‘fathers and sons’ — pictures of a young buck and a mature buck. I have a bunch of the ‘fathers and sons’ type pictures.
And this in one from 2018, two bucks, a young one and a mature one, and that younger was just about to learn himself a valuable lesson.
