About 200 yards out the 100 + Wildebeest were bearing down on her location at a run as she turned to Du Toit and said  " I am scared". Du Toit assured her they would not run over the tree and pushed her gently closer to the tree.

Chris was getting Cody ready for the shot in the prone position, but a couple of Springbok had also seen something moving in the grass an had stood up looking in there direction. Was the impala going to give Cody a shot before the Springbok who were giving them a hard look now decided to bolt and take all the other animals with them?

Only a small female was between the big Ram and us. I got Cody's attention and told him, "if that female keeps feeding you will have a broadside shot at the ram." Finally she cleared the big ram and Cody prepared for the shot ...
