Spot-Hogg Archery Products, a proven world leader with their
rugged, top quality, dependable line of bow sights, has also made a name for
its self with their smooth shooting Release Aids. The remarkable Saturday
Night Special is their newest entry for 2006.
The Saturday Night Special is a three-finger model designed
to be shot exclusively with a D-Loop. The Release has a short neck which allows
archers to add about ˝ inch of draw length back to their setups. While
this crisp shooting Release has a broad adjustment range for trigger tension,
the truly unique feature is how light it can be set while still maintaining
consistency and safety, a feature previously not found in the majority of
Release Aids. The innovative firing mechanism designed in the Saturday
Night Special has eliminated the problems of consistent releases with light,
sensitive, precise trigger settings making this the preferred Release for both
competitive archer and bowhunter.
All Spot Hogg products go through a vigorous trial stage
before offered to the public and the Saturday Night Special is no exception.
Shooting a prototype design, Spot Hogg’s Cabe Johnson, Head of Product
development/production and part owner took first place in the Adult Male
Freestyle (AMF) division at the 2005 NFAA Outdoor Nationals.
“Unlike every Release I have used in the past, the
Saturday Night Special offered pin point adjustability, light trigger pull,
zero travel and once set stayed set. This Release has it all and performed
flawlessly during the 5-day Nationals helping me take first place.”
Pro Shooter Alan Ruddick recently won the Redding
Western Trail Classic in the AMF class in an exciting three way shoot off.
Ruddock says, “This is the first Release I can set as light as I like it
without any fear of change or misfires. The consistency is unmatched in
With a suggested retail of $131.00, the Saturday Night
Special is a bargain when compared to existing, top line Release Aids and is
