In the past two weeks, I have shared insights about the BuckStik and BuckBranch, and this week I spotlight the BuckVine as our featured product. With its simple setup, the BuckStik line helps draw deer in. Let’s dive into the fantastic details of the BuckVine and discover what makes it so wonderfully effective. BuckVine Background
I truly love crafting mock scrapes with grapevines! After years of cutting and attaching leaves, I struggled with brittle vines that deer would easily break. Then came the game-changer: BuckStik’s BuckVine! I’m thrilled with how well it works—it attracts deer effortlessly and holds up beautifully against their interactions. It’s exciting to witness its effectiveness and durability in action!
BuckVine Set Up
Setting up the BuckVine is a breeze, whether you’re out on the trails or snug in a corner. With the generous 10 feet of paracord provided, you can easily hang the vine above a prominent trail. Just select your spot and secure the vine so that it hangs 48 to 52 inches above the ground. Then, get creative by creating a scrape underneath and applying a few spritzes of the included preorbital gland lure on both the vine and coconut ropes. A little goes a long way, so use just a small amount! You’ll be amazed at the results!
BuckVine Results
I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my BuckVines worked after I set them up! Initially, I had my doubts since deer usually love natural vines. But after removing the natural ones and hanging the BuckVines in the same spots, the deer hit them immediately. My SpyPoint Force Pro cameras worked overtime gathering information about each deer that stopped to work the BuckVine.
If you’re passionate about using vines for your scrapes, I can’t recommend the BuckVine enough! I’m genuinely impressed by its toughness, durability, and lifelike appearance. What’s truly great is how the BuckVine moves naturally, inviting deer to explore it from every angle. The vine’s heavy feel even invites bucks to engage with it, enhancing their experience. I no longer have to worry about deer breaking my natural vines or making trips into the woods for replacements. The BuckVine not only meets but truly exceeds all my expectations for creating the perfect mock scrape!
