MidwayUSA, a catalog and Internet retailer offering Just About Everything? for Shooting, Reloading, Gunsmithing and Hunting, is pleased to announce the receipt of two Telly Awards for 2011.
“We were excited to hear the news from the 32nd Annual Telly Awards last week that we won two Bronze Telly awards,” says Ryan Fischer, GunTec Manager at MidwayUSA. “Since 2005, we’ve produced nearly 400 video properties and each year we find ways to improve the quality of the content. We are extremely proud to receive these awards because it is a great indicator that we’re producing better content for our Customers.”
Each year, the Telly Awards receive over 13,000 entries from agencies and production companies all over the world. In 2011, MidwayUSA submitted two items for review and received two Bronze Telly Awards for the production of a gunsmithing short called How to Make an Inletting Chisel and a second safety video short called Eye and Ear Protection.
“Customers have always seemed to appreciate the videos we produce. From the first ones we filmed over six years ago to the vignette we wrapped up last week, we focus on creating videos our Customers are interested in and can learn from,” says Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO, MidwayUSA. “Receiving these awards is a great accomplishment for the MidwayUSA team.”
