NiceTargets was founded in 2011 out of necessity within a family-run business. If you don’t know about NiceTargets, you’re in for a treat. Let’s dive into the background before discussing their amazing targets.

NiceTargets Background
Sto-Cote Products, Inc. is a division of a family-owned business. Sto-Cote’s parent company has operated for more than 70 years, established around 1948. The company initially focused on producing plastic-coated drop cloth paper for painters. Over the years, the business evolved under the leadership of our great-grandfather and grandfather. Sto-Cote developed numerous innovative applications for engineered plastic sheeting. Since the late 1980s, the core focus has remained on “creative, solution-oriented applications utilizing engineered flexible films and plastic materials.” Sto-Cote’s products and divisions serve various industries, including hockey, golf, pond liners, greenhouses, and many protective packaging applications.
“I used to buy paper targets for $5, $6, and $7+, but I kept having to replace them. Weather, especially sun and rain, quickly renders them useless. After just a few arrows strike them, they fail. Once the paper targets deteriorated, I would resort to using an old playing card, a five-spot target, or an orange dot. However, I haven’t seen any playing cards or orange dots in the woods lately. While these alternatives are useful for setting up and providing a precise aiming point for tuning my bow, they don’t help when I’m actually hunting. In those moments, it’s essential to concentrate on a specific “kill zone” of the animal rather than an irrelevant orange dot. After all, animals don’t have orange dots.” (Owner: Jim Stoller)
Fast Shipping From NiceTargets
Receiving packages in the mail is always exciting. My NiceTargets arrived quickly, and I was impressed with the variety of targets included. I grabbed my Darton Sequel 33, a few Black Eagle Arrows, and one of the NiceTargets buck targets, then headed outside. I used a staple gun to attach the plastic target to one of my archery targets. I shot thirty arrows into the NiceTarget and had an absolute blast. Be sure to check out the video to see the target in action!

Not Paper
NiceTargets are not made of paper; they are constructed from a durable, weatherproof plastic. Rain simply rolls off these targets, and each one is equipped with UV protection to help extend its lifespan. In fact, you may find that you need to replace a target due to the holes you create in it before the weather causes any damage. The best part? Every NiceTarget is recyclable!

Incredible Details
I am truly impressed by the incredible high-definition details of the NiceTargets. The targets look remarkably realistic! NiceTargets features a professional photographer, Eric Dresser, who captures stunning images that are transformed into targets. One of my favorite aspects of these targets is the “vanishing kill zones.” When you are close to the target, you can clearly see the kill zones. However, as you move further away, the kill zones blend into the target, requiring you to rely on your knowledge of the animals’ anatomy to determine where to aim. This is a brilliant design and makes shooting the NiceTargets a challenging experience.

Countless Options
Not everyone who practices archery is a hunter, and NiceTargets has something for everyone. The variety of options available for shooters is impressive. Visit their shop to see for yourself! They offer large, medium, and small animal targets, in addition to twelve different game targets and twenty-four spot targets. Be sure to pay attention to the sizes of each target, as they are clearly indicated on the website.

Endless Affordable Entertainment
I put thirty arrows into my new NiceTarget, and it looks great! I am sure that the target will get plenty of action over the next few days. These targets are durable and will provide endless entertainment. The best part about NiceTargets is that they are affordable. The target above was $4.00, and it is 100% worth every penny. NiceTargets has variety packs with all kinds of targets for way less than the cost of a 3D target. I am really impressed overall by everything NiceTargets has to offer.

Final Thoughts
If you own a shop or are part of an archery club, it’s essential to order some NiceTargets. These targets are far superior to traditional paper targets, and the level of detail is remarkable. I appreciate that NiceTargets are made in the USA and are recyclable. One suggestion I have is for NiceTargets to include a QR code on each target, allowing you to easily order a replacement when the original wears out. That would make things much more convenient!
