Here We Go!
Gather your bow, a paper target, a tape measure, and a chair for this week’s challenge. You can complete the challenge indoors or outdoors, as long as you have a distance of 10 yards from your shooting position to the target.
For this challenge, I’m using a paper target of a life-size turkey. Attach the target to your target, then position your chair 10 yards away. From a seated position, shoot one arrow at the eye of the turkey. After shooting, use your tape measure to find the distance from the center of the eye to the center of your arrow. Record this distance, then repeat the process two more times. Your goal is to tighten the grouping and get as close to the eye as possible.
Shoot three arrows each day and see if you can hit the turkey’s eye. I challenge you to do this every day without taking any warm-up shots. Share the challenge with your friends and tag us on social media!
