Who Makes the Quietest Vanes?

White Bear Lake, Minnesota — The Flex-Fletch FFP 360 was recently announced by the James Yates Ballistic Arrow Study as the quietest and most stable for bowhunting.  This extensive in-depth study was a joint effort of Easton Archery, Tristan Litke of Precision Cut Archery, Jamie McIntosh | Archery Sound Lab . https://www.precisioncutarchery.com/research/arrow-study-2025. Nearly 40 different vanes were tested using 450-grain arrows launched at 280 fps.

The FFP-360 archery vane was designed by Roger Grundman to be his ideal vane. As an aeronautical engineer for 3M, Roger was dissatisfied with the performance of feather vanes while bowhunting in Minnesota’s rainy and cold conditions. He also felt that the 4-inch and 5-inch vanes were larger than he needed. By designing a 3.5-inch vane with a true parabolic shape and adding a tail, he created what he considered “the perfect vane.”

Many archers agree and have been using the FFP-360 for decades.
  • Length: 3.6″/9.1cm
  • Height: 0.47″/1.19cm
  • Weight: 7.7 grains
Colors include: FloGreen, FloRed, Blaze, FloBlue, WinnerChoice, Cosmic Green, Purple, White, Black, Real Red, Pearl Pink, Pearl Blue, Pearl Green, Phantom Clear

This vane has not only been a long-lasting champion for bowhunters, but many indoor target archers around the world have chosen this vane for its capability to stabilize their arrows as well.
Flex-Fletch is renowned worldwide as the “Vane of Champions” for several important reasons. First, these vanes are incredibly durable and flexible, capable of returning to their original shape even after being compressed in a bow case or after passing through a target or an animal. This unique ability is a result of the RIM molding process, which heat-cures the memory and shape into each vane.
The second feature is the aerodynamic shape with a smaller base and a tapered profile, making the vane 30% thinner and lighter for better front-of-center balance.

Lastly, Flex-Fletch vanes are carefully weighed and inspected by hand to ensure they are free from flaws and maintain the highest consistency for archers with each shot.
The FFP360s are available at Flex-Fletch dealers nationwide with an MSRP starting at $24.99. Every Flex-Fletch vane is made in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, backed by a Lifetime Warranty and 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. To learn more, visit https://flexfletch.com/.
